Restorative Strength & Pilates:
We think true strength is about creating an adaptable body that can keep up with whatever you want to achieve in life. In our restorative classes, elements of clinical mat Pilates are combined with a functional-training approach to help you improve posture, coordination, strength, and body awareness.
These are mixed ability classes – all levels welcome.
Sessions focus on:
- Increasing full-body mobility, releasing ‘tightness’
- Improving core strength with correct abdominal activation
- Preventing reduction in bone density and muscle loss with strength and power
- Improving functional movement in different positions – lying, sitting, kneeling and standing
- Training balance, agility & coordination
Full Body Strength & Stretch:
Our strength and stretch classes are ideal if you’re looking to add more equipment to your workout. Exercises vary each class and will sometimes be performed in a circuit style, other times as a big group altogether. Either way, you’re sure to get a really great full body training session, finished off with a relaxing stretch and release at the end of class.
Sessions focus on:
