The Clinical Oncology Society of Australia is now recommending that every person diagnosed with Cancer takes part in regular physical activity to help manage the side effects of treatment – and even as a supplement to treatment itself.
We are certified Cancer Exercise Specialists and have been trained to prescribe exercise programs for over 27 different types of Cancers.
As well as drastically reducing the side effects of treatment, such as fatigue, chronic pain, poor sleep, and reduced immune function, evidence suggests that exercise can improve the effectiveness of Cancer treatment and promote long-term survivorship.
At Central Coast Exercise, we understand that whatever the diagnosis, your situation is unique. We will work with your goals, treatment plan and lifestyle to design a safe and enjoyable exercise program that limits the risk of side effects such as lymphedema.
Our classes are held overlooking the ocean at Toowoon Bay Surf Life Saving Club, 160 Bay Rd, Toowoon Bay NSW 2261.
We run regular classes morning, noon and night from Monday-Friday. Contact us to check the availability of your preferred time.
Pricing is structured in 10-pack blocks and depends on whether you would like to do one or two classes per week. Alternatively, you can attend as many classes as you like with a monthly subscription. More info can be read on our pricing page.
